Someone, I believe [livejournal.com profile] levade, forgot to close a bold tag on my friendslist this morning, so you are all coming across as unusually excited. It's kind of funny.

Z's keys are missing. On Valentine's Day he attempted to open a bottle of wine with the corkscrew on his Swiss Army knife, and that's the last we saw of them. He's been borrowing my keys since then. Which is why I was able to truthfully say, this morning when they called me to ask if I could come in to work an extra day, "Oh, I really can't today," because Z's using my keys.

He's leaving for work late today-- has to stay late for a meeting, so he just lay around this morning. We sat at the kitchen table and he ate Pirates of the Caribbean cereal and we admired the Photoshop job somebody did on Johnny Depp, so that they could use the same picture of his face twice on the box, with different body positions.
Z remembered that one of his college buddies (Danielle, for those of you who know her) just had an interview with a company that makes DVD titles-- not a bad gig, for an animator.

It was nice to have a leisurely morning like that. I am psyching myself up to spend All Day writing. But, as it's well above freezing, I may take a break and go jogging, as I am feeling stiff and sore and fat.

My blog is so exciting, of late... But soon, soon I will be done with this draft, and then I will be able to address the comments people left on various excerpts (You thought I wasn't ever going to answer! But I will, I just need to keep going first.) and then, yes, then I will be... more... exciting? I don't know. Lost train of thought.

Must go get psyched up. And kiss Z goodbye-- I think he's finally leaving. I tried to talk him into staying home until noon, but I really think for both of our sakes he really should just get going.

I think it's quite funny that they don't have escapes coded in, but sometimes, yes-- if someone forgets to close a tag, the rest of my flist page is in that whatever-it-was. Which is bad if it was italic or small or strikethrough or something, but bold isn't so bad.
And yet, on pages where you view just the post, the tags never go past the end of the post-- so I'm not sure quite why... Eh, I'm not an HTML designer, so I really don't know. I just thought it was funny-- Neil Gaiman was all boldface about how hot Terry Pratchett was, which was really amusing. (Ok, so he was just discussing photos, but still.)
^.^
I sort of don't want to go back and reread them all in normal font now.

Next time, leave open a tag that makes the fonts pink and 16-point. :D

Niiiiice icon.
And nice italics.

Those, however, have not continued down the page...

Nuh!
Maybe it wasn't you. It's still there. LOL: my flist is just destined to be Bold Forever. Only below that entry, though. LOL. Sorry for blaming you! It must be the HTML-goblins.

It must be the HTML-goblins.

I have had to abandon some of my more favorite LJ layouts because all it takes is someone forgetting to close a tag and it breaks the friends page entirely. Well, that and I'm too lazy to go figure out how to fix the layout. :/
