Columnist!

dragonlady7No, I am not a columnist. Z, ironically enough, is now a columnist. Starting today, he is having a short column published every other week in his magazine.
Here is the first column: The One With The Wires. (He's got more boring titles for them.)
The week after next, it'll be the one with the springs, and after that, I think the one with the cheese. He's written five months' worth already, and they're just going in at the editor's whim.
They're funny.
Z's really excited about it.
... He's more a published writer than I am.
(edited to add) The column is called Gewgaws and Gimcracks, and while it's ostensibly your run-of-the-mill column by the resident Geek about Nifty Gizmos, in Z's case he somewhat sarcastically twisted the assignment, and instead of doing the usual "The iPod Makes Me Jizz" reviews, he's simply telling stories about gadgets in his life. So today's saga is the story of how he tried to install a wireless handsfree adapter in his car but the auto-mall salesman was a total idiot. The next one, two weeks from now, will be about how his mother's elaborate Cork Removal System for wine had a humorous malfunction. Etcetera.
Now that the Editorial department knows he can write, his life will never be peaceful again. But it had to happen...
