dragonlady7It went from 65 and sunny to snowy over the course of two days, so I guess it's autumn in Buffalo. Not surprising.
We're going to Ohio this weekend. Leaving straight from work. I should be packing. I mostly know what I'm bringing, it's no big deal.
Mostly I'm bringing booze.
We're going to visit K&Z in Akron, to talk about the restaurant, and to generally drink our faces off, since it's been a rough year for everybody, and K&Z have quite recently had a falling-out with a close friend that has left them both quite upset.
They were going to come here but part of the rough year is financial troubles, as poor Zaliha STILL hasn't been able to find a steady job, and the expense of gas is enough that they really can't swing a trip to Buffalo yet. They still want to open the restaurant here, though, so some time soon we'll have to tour them around the neighborhoods. First, though, we're going to go visit, discuss business ideas, and again, drink our faces off. Also K is going to cook us a six-course meal, so, that's OK too. :)
Last night K told me the world was a better place for my being in it, as a thanks for some advice/perspective I gave him, and it rather pleased me. That's the kind of thing that's a much more useful compliment than "those jeans don't make your ass look fat". Ha.
