dragonlady7It is so impossible to do anything at all without using your hands that I am quite distracted. Add to that the fact that said useless hands are actively in pain, and you have an irresponsible blogger who has utterly forgotten to note that all is not awfulness in the world of me:
I got approved for my days off after Christmas!!!
So I have the 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th to spend AT HOME. This is tremendous, as I have not been home since the middle of August, because I was a fucking pussy at Thanksgiving and decided I didn't want to spend 12 hours driving in the snow to spend roughly 20 hours at home. And it was awfully snowy, but I still feel like a bit of a wuss.
But Mom says she might even see about waiting Christmas for me and having it on the 26th so I can be there!!!
At the least, she says, they'll have a partial do-over of Christmas for me.
Which means, naturally, two Christmas dinners, which pleases her immensely. (For some reason, for someone who doesn't eat much, she sure loves cooking.)
So if only I can survive twenty-four more days, I get to go HOME.
