dragonlady7I just have to say that it is a very long time indeed since I was so thoroughly unimpressed with any of my own writing. The latest tripe I'm churning out for NaNo has pretty much no redeeming features. Which is interesting, I suppose, but mostly, disheartening. Never fear! I shall reach 50,000 words, one way or another, but God, it will be meaningless.
Which is too bad. I'm curious as to where this yet-another-rewrite of this story is headed. But it's just not coming out well, and it's very, erm, light in character development. I'm just sort of blatantly skipping along at this point, because it's really just not coming out well and I'm flipping ahead to the good parts where it won't matter that I currently can't write for shit.
I'm full of glum reflections on how everyone's a fucking writer nowadays, and I'm so very much more a waitress than a writer, but I'm sort of not going to ramble about that just now.
What did I do this weekend? It is nearly over, and I have only just added anything at all to my wordcount. The rest of the weekend, i spent doing chores, but I am nothing like caught up on, well, anything. But I did roast a chicken for dinner. Surely that counts for something. Mm. Roasted chicken.
