Flat With Cat

Pictures of this weekend are up in my Livejournal gallery: Weekend In Melrose.
Major weekend events covered in photographs include:
Lots of eating
A Big Walk with Scout, which was several miles of the wilderness behind my parents' house. They spend about an hour a day or more back here walking the dog. This dog gets more exercise than any other dog I know short of sled dogs.
A Day At The Races: the younger set took off to visit the racetrack at Saratoga for a bit of Saturday afternoon, where we met up with some of Fiona's friends from high school. I didn't get around to making any wagers, though Fiona placed one $2 bet and won $10.
Gun Safety: Dad being a 30-something-year Army veteran, he is very convinced of the importance of gun safety. Thus, we've all been taught to handle firearms properly. Jessie and Maureen, being relatively infrequent visitors, had not taken his Gun Safety Class (tm), and wanted to. So he gave them a quick, pistol-centered version, as pistols are more dangerous, and more common in cities.
The Drive Home: it was a long drive.
Scout: Most of the pictures are of Scout, the Cutest Dog Ever.

There are no pictures of Kitten of Doom, however. Which makes me sad. I am so terribly sad that I do not have this kitten. I am considering driving the 4 hours back to Cortland and abducting this kitten because she was that cute and I loved her so.

Loved the comments, but "Flat with the Cat" was my favorite one, for obvious reasons. :)

And I agree. You should go back and abduct the kutten.
