brief brief update

dragonlady7Am back from weekend in Melrose.
1) Scout remains Cutest Dog Ever.
2) Fell hopelessly in love with Fiona's new kitten (a steel-gray probable-Russian-blue rescued from a trailer park a couple of days ago: she's probably four months old), who looks exactly like the kitten we had my junior year in college. Very nearly stole her, except the menfolk were spoilsports. (I was seriously ready to swing by Wal-Mart and buy a litter box, cat carrier, and food and litter and just take her home with me, and Fiona was seriously ready to let me.) But she was eating my braid, and purred for a good half hour while I carried her around. AAAAAHHHH I WANT THE FUZZY.
3) Z is a damn good shot with a .9mm pistol.
4) My mom makes the best food ever.
5) New York State is too damn big and takes too long to cross.
6) I have like nine zillion photos to post tomorrow. Mostly of Cutest Dog Ever. Did not get photos of Kitten Of Doom. A damn shame.
7) Z looks really cute with a French braid. I learned how to do one this weekend, and I need to practice a bunch on someone else so I can learn to do them on myself. Think Z will be a sport and let me? Hmmm... Pigs, also, may fly. Stay tuned.
8) I missed my Kelly girl cousins so much. New York State is too damn big.
