dragonlady7went to the drive-ins last night with z and we watched Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. It was ok, I liked it, but what stays with me is that it made me really, really, really hungry for chocolate.
Bastards!
It was eased somewhat by the fact that on the way to the theater we'd paused at Anderson's to have Orange Chocolate Marnier, their custard flavor of the day. We have sampled many of their flavors, and I do believe that Orange Chocolate Marnier is by far the best. It is simply an awesome flavor.
(I believe it's next scheduled for August 5th, but I could be wrong.)
Sighhhh.....
I've over halfway completed chapter 2 of Vikings Novel now, but I'm a little hung up on the fact that the end of Ch2 and the end of Ch4 are similar, almost repetitive events. Now I'm wondering, could I combine them? I'd already changed a few things in Ch2 to set it up for the end, and now realize that some of the events I was preparing for were Ch4 instead. Dammit.
Can I cut that much? Probably. But I have to pay close attention. I need a few hours to really be immersed in it.
And I have to be at work in two hours.
I don't have another day off until Tuesday, which I'll probably spend cleaning our stuff out of Dave's mom's house and setting back up at home.
After that I have Friday off... I guess it would kill them to give me two consecutive days off. Maybe I'll be able to get something done then...
I don't dislike my job. I don't. I don't. Not a bit. No, it's good. Yes. I will not be frustrated by how little progress I'm making. No, I will be patient.
