Two more things.
1) I am coming up with better ideas for birthday presents. Now i need to decide what to ask Z for. Maybe he'll surprise me if I tell him what would be a good surprise. :p Maybe he'll actually have money by then!
2) To anyone who is planning to travel at all by air this summer: FLY IN THE MORNING. Jesus. I don't think I've seen one flight go out on time after about 2pm in the last three weeks. Thunderstorms have shut down every major airport on six out of seven days every week. Fly before noon if at all possible, and maybe you'll get where you're going. Otherwise? Thunderstorms are so very unpredictable-- an announcement came over the speakers today about a Northwest flight that was departing early because of looming weather conditions in Detroit; it seems the airline had decided that the few disgruntled passengers who wouldn't come in time would outweigh the many disgruntled passengers if they waited until the scheduled time and thus became locked in waiting out a thunderstorm. They don't dissipate until the cool of the evening, and by then there's such chaos that it takes hours to sort everything out. I had 3:00 flights rescheduled for 10:30. Don't let it happen to you: FLY IN THE MORNING.
