It is cool down here. And dim.
It is 90 degrees outside.
I have just scrubbed the floor of the sunporch. It looks the same. Eh well.
Soaked self with hose. Feel better.
Pondering sunporch arrangement. Wish I had a cheap old loveseat to put out there. Would be comfy. However, also would be comfy in basement. Le sigh; what a conflict. Is moot, as do not have loveseat.

Have mysteriously sliced open pad of right middle finger. Is not bleeding, but makes weird pulling sensation every time I flex finger. V. irritating.

I am considering becoming a mole person. I need to keep a pair of slippers down here; the floor is too gritty and cold. Cold is nice; can't deal with grit. Can't remove it either; am tired of floorscrubbin.

I should get a fake Astroturf rug for the back porch. That floor just isn't pretty no matter what I do. Will probably have to beat Dave up to get him to remove his shoes out there. Don't want to mop that floor again. Urgh.

Oh, hey. Feet up on desk solves cold feet problem.

I wish a cool basement were an option for me. I have a small room I use for an 'office' and with this kind of heat the computer just heats it right up.
