Foosh Update

So. In general, an update about the fooshes, for the curious and concerned.
New Foosh: I finally got a picture of her that shows her colors.
Shirley, who attempted to escape not long ago and was thwarted by having neither legs nor lungs, is pretty much fully recovered.
Al, who had the dropsy and we were sure he would die, is entirely recovered and has been an unstoppable force, cruising around the tank flaring at the world.
Gibson is fine, although he has inexplicably changed color rather subtly to be a paler version of his full-colored self, though we haven't altered the diet that initially changed him from a white fish to a blue one. He's been swimming very well and behaving well, although occasionally Al will bite him through the barrier and then he freaks out. Which is reasonable.
We stuck her in the big tank last night to see what happened, since she seems to dislike the bowl she's in, and she and Shirley immediately disproved the notion that only male bettas flare:

So they did that for a while, and then New Foosh just chased Shirley all over the tank. So she discovered the passageway to the other compartment of her partition in record time. (It took Gibson like three days.) Shirley hid in the tube, though, and New Foosh wound up fighting with her own reflection for a while instead. But we decided not to stress poor Shirley so much, given her recent brush with escape, so we put New Foosh back into her bowl for the night, and left Shirley in peace.
