Was playing with iTunes. Wanted to listen to a Fiona Apple song from the album Extraordinary Machine, a particular one with a very weird rhythm part. It's called "Used To Love Him"-- oh i just really used to love him / i sure hope that's it-- wordy and complex and typical Fiona Apple.
Typed in "used to lo" into the iTunes search box.
Two songs called Used To Love Him.
The other one? Listening now.
"Used To Love Him" by L7. i used to love him / but i had to kill him / now i'm much happier than then.
Amusing juxtaposition, is all. I first discovered the L7 song among my overgrown mp3 collection while, ironically enough, in the midst of writing a het smut scene. It sorta... destroyed the mood. But amusingly.
Right. Am full of milkshake and self-satisfaction. Am in v. good mood, not really sure why. Am so very sleepy. Will sleep now. Will probably update far too many times tomorrow. With any luck, will also write more hawt Elfslash tomorrow. And there was much rejoicing. (Yay.)
