OMG DED FROM COOL!

*gets out of bed like undead creature, fighting off gravity*
*goes into bathroom*
*does business (look away, people! This isn't that kind of journal!)*
*steps on scale*
*is down 5 pounds*
quoth I, "Oh dehydration, thou art a cruel tease."
*drinks*
*takes heavy-duty aspirin*
*drinks more*
*stumbles back to bed*
*checks email*
...
And in my email there is a comment. From a username that looks... oddly familiar, from the days of ICQ lo these many moons ago. Could it be? I think, scrolling down through the quoted text of my entry. Maybe? But Gmail doesn't display photos, so the icon doesn't give it away. And I have been disappointed before about old friends coming back online, so I remain uncertain. But then I read the comment and am overjoyed:

And am going to go make bizarre comments on a new journal because why not???!! Ha ha ha.

I'm all for linguist-beer every frikkin monday. Tuesday's got no appeal anyways. We might as well spend it squinty-eyed and self-conscious.
