things to ponder on the bus-ride to work

dragonlady71) Young!Glorfindel is a bit of a punk. Also, wiseass. Maybe this weekend I will have time to spend with him. However, alternately, VikingsNovel wants me to look at it again and it would be kind of cool to actually have the brainspace and time and focus and ability to actually make a reasonable attempt at that one again. I wanted to have it ready to submit to publishers by May, but maybe I'll stop being obscurely wounded at my total inability to do that at some point and just edit the damn thing.
2) Yeah, I was really weird yesterday. I'm kinda worried about yesterday!me. Should I give her a call or something? Maybe we'll hang this weekend and I'll figure out what's up with her. She's kind of... disturbingly crazy.
3) Last night Dave mentions that he feels belittled when I refer to him as a "boy", although "boyfriend" is a perfectly reasonable term. Likewise he finds it condescending when he's "my boy", and objects to the possessive. Though I pointed out, it's not like he's anyone else's, or wants to be. Hm.
4) Ann sent me a thank-you card for her birthday present, and she mentioned that she'd like to come visit. Would that be awesome? Yes it would.
5) I forgot to ask Dave when exactly his graduation is. I want to know which day I should request off that weekend. Sadly it is unlikely that they'll give me so much as an entire day off, much less the whole weekend, so if he tells me the time of the bit of graduation he wants me to see, I'll try to get that. But I don't know if they'll even give me that. Of course they're bastards; we already knew that.
6) I am wearing blue eyeliner and think it is cute. We all know I have no taste, however. But it's immaterial, as nobody ever notices what I look like except creepy foreigners who don't tip and want to touch me.
