Also, annually on Mother's Day Weekend they have a "barn sale". In their renovated barn in Ithaca, NY. Go figure.
I'm actually considering swapping shifts with someone at work so that I can go to this. I bet I could meet up with all of my Stateside immediate family here. That would be fun. But, we'll see.
(Given that my prospects of seeing my family are dim pretty much perpetually what with this "let's fuck with Bridget" scheduling policy, which Penny assures me will get worse over the summer. "People call in all the time and they just make you stay and stay and stay...")
Oh yes, it may snow on Sunday. Right now, it's just cold.
And, adding to my appreciation of my own idiocy, I made up a deposit envelope for HSBC containing $150 in cash of my tips, and now can't remember whether I deposited it. Are you proud of me or what? It takes real talent to be that dumb. It's not like I have money lying around: the gas bill just arrived and by now, with me paying the minimum so they don't shut it off, it's climbed to $750. Yes. Ridiculous. Life is ridiculous. Goddamned ridiculous. AAAAGHHH.
