I am still feeling angry and frustrated and dejected and just sick at how incompetent and dumb I am. I know how these things go, and it will pass. And I will feel better. (I have now definitively remembered the incident wherein I put $5 of my hard-earned tips into the drawer and was distracted before removing the $5. So yes. I was written up for donating $5 of the tips I sweat so hard for to the company. Fuck it, I will henceforth bring home wads of crumpled ones and jars of pennies rather than screw with nice neat money, even though it means I'll be constantly buying change and unable to spend the money I've earned because it's all in tiny denominations.)

So I'm doing a music post. From a song off an album I pirated most of and then bought used at Record Archive. These people deserve money but I don't have it. So I'll put this perfect song up and encourage you to go buy the album.

Nada, by the Refreshments, from the album Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy. The frontman's new band's website is here: The Peacemakers, and their CDs are back in print after being unavailable for a long time. I particularly recommend, well, all of them. There's more stuff by them on my music page.

Also, they totally rule live, but aren't scheduled to come east of the Mississippi at all this year.
