blink blink
Apr. 6th, 2005 09:42 amGood:
Got an extra hour and a half of sleep by coming an hour late to work.
Work wasn't too busy, so I could chill out a bit.
On my way out the door yesterday morning the crocuses were blooming out of the snowdrift in front of my house. It looked cool.
Watched a movie with Dave, all cozy in my bed. We laughed a lot.
Took the bus home: Dave was waiting for me at home and had made dinner, and I arrived just in time.
Had time, taking the bus both ways, to work on Barbarians Novel a bit.
Had the mental capacity the other day to finally set up filters on Gmail so my auto-notification emails don't clutter up my inbox but get filed in their own categories right away.
On my way out of work yesterday the cabinet of aprons and uniform parts was open and I scored me a nice half-apron for cocktail waitressing, so I don't have to worry about pockets in my pants. Sweet! (Also, slightly shallower pockets than the folded-in-half full apron I've been using, which means I won't lose the menus in them.)
Bad:
Couldn't get to sleep last night, inexplicably. *Now* am tired.
Work wasn't busy so I was bored and made no money.
I didn't have time to get a shot of the crocuses in the snow. I never have time to take pictures nowadays. *Pout.*
All Dave and I did in my bed was watch a movie. Not even any snuggling. Bah.
Took the bus home: it was late when I got home and I was too tired to do any housework. House is a mess.
On the bus ride in I had to sit by a very smelly homeless man, which made concentrating on anything else rather difficult.
Set up filters on Gmail so auto-notification emails are automatically filed: Now there's never anything in my Inbox and it just highlights that I have no friends.
Caught a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror and realized when I wear an apron I look more than a little silly.
