Ha. Clever me: a narrative

Me: *wakes up groggy, looks at bus schedule.*
Bus schedule: "You have to get on the bus at 9:15 and get to work by 10:00 because you have to be there at 11 and that's the only bus."
Me groggily: "Shit."
Me cleverly: *thinks* It's dead on Tuesdays. I bet they wouldn't miss me if I took the later bus and got in at 11:45.
Me: *is clever*
Me: *phones up work* "Hi, would it be OK if I were late today? The bus schedule would get me there either really early or 45 minutes late, and I know All-Stars will be dead this morning."
Office Lady: "Would this be an ongoing thing?"
Me: "No, just today."
Office Lady: "Ok. See you at 11:45. I'll make a note."
Me: "Sweet."
Me: *goes back to bed*

I can take the 11:12 bus! Yays.
