Spent all last night shivering because I couldn't get warm enough to fall asleep. My feet in particular were so cold they were burning. I couldn't warm them.
Fell asleep finally.
Woke up this a.m. at 4 so overheated I couldn't catch my breath. I deliriously convinced myself that it was a fever and i had to sweat it out, so i pulled the blankets over my head and just about gave myself heatstroke.
At this point have removed most of my clothing and most of the blankets and am entirely unable to tell whether I am warm or cold. I am definitely too much one or the other, but can't decide which. Both at once, apparently.

Can't get out of bed. I made it as far as the bathroom an hour or so ago, and took just a goddamn handful of ibuprofin because it's the only thing I have... Dave went to the grocery store late last night and I asked him to pick me up various cold remedies there but he forgot them, and I am not feeling up to the mile and a half walk to the closest drugstore. Just as well; I don't even know what medicine I'd get.

I have so many other things to do, it is very upsetting that all I can think about is my physical discomfort. But I can't bear to have my glasses on for any length of time because my eyes hurt my head, and without them I can't see the screen, so it's not like i can work on stuff on the computer.
Hm.
It sorta hurts to type, so I'm gonna go now.
