oh the sleepiness

oh the cruel, cruel sleepiness.
i am so, so very tired.
but Dave has to be in Rochester early, which means if I want a ride to work I have to go early, and Schedule Manager inexplicably shifted my Tuesdays from 9:30 to 9:00.
And I'm just tired. I haven't had a day off since, well, Saturday, which was only one day, and before that haven't had off since Feb. 24th. Which also means I haven't had a nap since Saturday, when I slept for 2 hours in the first nap I'd taken since Feb. 24th most likely.
I know. So many of you work so much harder. Yadda yadda. My point is that I am spoiled into expecting supplemental sleep now and then, and thus cannot sleep more than about five or six hours in a night. Working nights is a pain because it means I get up at 6 or 7 as usual, but then don't have a chance to sneak any more sleep until I go to bed at my usual going-to-bed time. (Which is usually after midnight.)
Last night I attempted to score a nap before Dave got home but my conscience won out and made me get up to make dinner instead.
I'm totally blathering.
I'm way behind on all kinds of things, from keeping iCal updated to doing laundry to taking care of housework. (Dave has, predictably, gone off to resume classes while leaving the last two weeks' dishes undone in the sink, on the table, on the counter, and on the coffee table. I sense a fight brewing.)
And I can't hold my damn eyes open.
I had a good story for airportbartender but I'm too groggy to write it.
Inexplicably, this morning, the Satanicide version of My Heart Will Go On snagged itself in my head and is playing on loop. It's kinda better than you'd think.
What joys will today hold? I don't know. I can't begin to anticipate.
I have a nasty sore throat. I hope I was snoring and it's not some nasty illness. Bleah.
Well, this entry was mos. def. a waste of space, and I can't believe I just used that abbreviation and I'm going to go now.
