dinner conversation
Mar. 2nd, 2005 12:34 amAw crap, I had a really funny exchange from dinner and I've forgotten it.
Dammit, I hate going senile.
Y'know, I think I have pretty much nothing to say at the moment. I mean, there's stuff to say, but I am so tired and fried that I don't want to. And I have stuff to do tomorrow morning, so if I want to finish editing the Death of Ecthelion thing according to the excellent, excellent comments I have received I have to do that tonight. Because I will never have a goddamn day off again.
Actually I have Saturday off...
And oh! They posted next week's schedule! And I have... two days off in a row!!!!!
Wednesday and Thursday.
I haven't had two days off in a row in, like, like, I mean, words fail me. I mean yes. I mean days. I mean, what was I talking about?
It has been a long, er, week? Month? Time.
But yeah. Dave or I said something really funny at dinner, and then the other one of us responded really wittily, and I recall looking at the sideboard kind of absently and thinking, "I should blog that." I may even have said so. But I don't know what it was.
I got nothing of substance done at work today, but had no customers either, so I wound up sitting in the back room with too much coffee (nobody was drinking it and I didn't want to just throw it out) and writing Glorfindel and Ecthelion in bed on a rainy afternoon-- but no smut, more's the pity. Why do I suddenly want to write First Age Elf slash? Who am I and what have I done with the real Bridget?
[Slash-Muse: But they're hawt. DL7: But this means you have to read the Silm. S-M: Read? Hah!]
