Fell asleep at like, eleven. (I don't remember when it was.)
Woke up at 2.
Yup yup. My exceeding cleverness in sleep-scheduling amuses me no end.
I should be banging Ch. 8 into shape then, but it's not working at the moment. Am rather... sleep-tarded. And, of all things, hungry. Bah.
Well, might as well try going back to sleep. I think I've made enough of a disturbance around the house to ensure that Dave will be quizzical at me when he awakes. Good thing he's a light sleeper but falls asleep easily.
(Have had thought: most of my characters are at various points described as light sleepers. is that weird? I don't know very many heavy sleepers and think they're creepy. maybe i'll have to change and make a major character a heavy sleeper and see what that's like. but i don't know. what's it like to be unwakeable? Besides really fuckin' creepy for the rest of us [recalls attempts to wake darius on one memorable occasion. i was not very awake and immediately assumed he was dead. surreal and unpleasant.])
