ok: Viking-Nummies On My Own Server
Feb. 24th, 2005 05:43 pmI'm setting up the password-protected directory on my webserver now to house the redraft of the Viking Novel. Anyone who wants a login for this, please leave a comment with your e-mail address. You do not have to friend me to read this version. It will be on my own server.
You don't even have to have a livejournal account.
Comments will be screened so nobody else can see your email address. :)
Kat, I already made you a login. :)
Note: There are no chapters up yet. All that's in that directory as of yet is a character-description page I made for a friend who is an illustrator, so she could visualize the characters. Chapters will be forthcoming at a somewhat later date (likely, next week). I intend to send notice of updates to a mailing list. Please specify when you leave your email address whether you would like to receive e-mail notice of updates, or whether you would prefer to check back in when you have time.
Do let me know if you would prefer that I continued to simply update the novel on Livejournal. I'm finding that unwieldy, to be honest. I may put up links as new chapters go up, as I have no feedback system in place on my own site yet (Dave says it's easy, but does that mean I'll do it? Took me long enough to put up the protected directory...) -- do let me know what you think.
So, that's what's up with the Vikings novel. (And yes, the directory will get prettier.)
