being entirely unable to do anything really useful, i updated the fanfic epic some more. have uploaded several new sections dealing with rohan 3014-3017. These were never posted on HASA even in beta.

I've now put up a great deal of the material that's, well, fit to post. Some needs editing for continuity. Anything that's just unfinished and fragmentary isn't posted. But anything long enough to stand reasonably on its own or with the other pieces is up. Sometimes stories end where there's obviously more material to cover, but they're at least at chapter-ends.
The most frustrating bits to find in the folder are the ones that end midsentence. (scroll scroll) WTF?
Very frustrating feeling.

So... yes, it's a bunch of, to borrow a phrase, self-indulgent crap, Rohirric gap-fillers mostly. Highlights include:
Eomund and Thorongil (needs some continuity editing but the section is complete)
The Demise of Eomund (only needs a tiny bit of continuity editing)
Eomer and Lothiriel's first meeting (this one might be reasonably complete)
Theoden's descent into illness (this one too is mostly complete)
Eomer and Imrahil (this one... needs some continuity editing)
There's more but those bits are the most complete.
And no, none of this has been beta'd in any depth. There shouldn't be typos or major errors but I've been the only proofreader for the most part. Most of this was posted up at HASA in beta over the summer and I got a few comments, but didn't really put much editing into them. Mostly just composition.
I don't know what time I'll have to improve any of this. If at all. So i thought, I'll put up what's there because there's too much that went into it to just lose it in the folders of my disorganized hard drive. I have a website, i'm putting it up. If somebody reads it, I'll be psyched. But at least I'll know what I have. (I keep my writings much more organized, now...)

And to navigate, just look down the left-hand column for the next chronological bit in red text. Anything red is up. Anything black, not yet. Order and number of chapters subject to change. Alternately, begin at the fanfic epic main page and click on the chapters from there.
I should have better webdesign skillz, but I should also be doing about twenty more productive things. Still and all, it's better than lying on the couch feeling ill. (My sinuses, I swear, I'm going to use a drill to relieve the pressure.)

I have made moderate progress on the Original Writings Protected Folder but it is just so much easier to paste these things into a template I made back when my brain kinda worked... so I've been doing that, to feel cleverer than otherwise.
This weekend sucked.
