am so sleepy.
just spent two hours on internet telephone with cousin Andreas, who has a job in his field in Norway, and was enjoying his first weekend, and had drunk so much he was ill. His job is good and all, but... If anyone sees anything in underwater acoustic engineering (he's an electronic engineer by specialty), he is considering a move to the U.S., just to do so, being as this is the age to experiment with new locales and all.

I had a pleasant late-evening with dave. He has made tremendous strides on Fooshie Palace. I took photos and shall post them. It is going to be exceedingly elaborate. And you know the fish won't appreciate it.
"You know," Dave said, "it's going to be just like when I spent all day making a carwash for the hamster when I was a kid. And I put him in it and he was terrified and just sat there."
No, the fish won't care. But Fooshella (she seems to have become named that) used to live in a big tank and will probably be much happier in a big tank again.

I am too tired to be coherent any more than this or tell any of my day's Sagas. Not even the one about how I was finally closing the bar, and the last thing I had to do was lock my beer taps, and the key broke off in the lock of the first of eight of them. UGH. I kept the snapped-off little piece. I couldn't believe it.
But, I'm too tired to tell the story. And, my feet hurt, even though I've been lying down three hours already now. OW.

I sorta wish this could continue, tho'. I wish I could continue at this income level. I finally got to see next week's schedule and yeah, it's just this week's schedule again. Schedule-Manager was just being polite or something. Bah. I'll probably need a second job once the holiday rush dies down, after the Spring Break season. And that makes me a sad panda.

Yeh, there's this big old building just off Exit 46 in Rochester labeled "Hydroacoustics, Inc." I never thought about what goes on in there, but, weirdly, I think it has to do with underwater acoustic engineering. I think they manufacture the speakers synchronized swimmers have installed in their pools so they can hear what they're dancing to.

Hey, spring break season is just beginning...the kids get this week off, so you can hope they'll be coming back at the end of the week. Then March is college spring breaks. Then mid-April is the other vacation for the kids. So good times are here.
