have been awake 3 hours but only just started playing with computer. am trying to type silently b/c the Boy is in the bed. he climbed in last night, gleefully, and curled himself around me while i was still up and working on ch. 7, and when i asked what he was doing he cheerfully said "sleeping with you". he's still there now and i don't want to wake him, but ch. 7 and the knowledge i haven't finished it yet is eating at my rest. only four hours to glue the rewrites on Newton together in the real computer...

but he is so cute and i wub him.

I know. I was so totally going to be done by my deadline, and then I was snuggling instead.

He is so sweet. I love it when boys get cuddly. I always forget that you two have your own rooms. I think that is very smart, it makes the time you choose to snuggle more special. That said, I think my man would stage a cup de tat if I dare speak the words "Separate rooms" He would think that I suddenly thought he was smelly or something and you know I would want the big bed!

Actually our beds are the same size. His is marginally more comfortable, as it's a newer mattress from Ikea with the separate-springs dealie so that you don't end up mushed in the middle. (Also, his is more in the direct path of a heat vent, and his duvet is thicker, so it's warmer there. When I sleep alone I am often cold for a while until I've managed to warm up the bed.)

Dave is very often not sweet or cute. He is very prickly and particular and separate, and if we did not sleep in separate beds he would often sleep on the couch. (He did, when we had a one-bedroom.) He really isn't physically touchy. It took me a very long time to get used to that. And it still bothers me sometimes.

But when he looks all mischievous and climbs into my bed, it's way more fun than it would be if he did it all the time.

it is squee worthy! I think that is totally awesome. I like men with their own brand of persnickityness. *is that even a word* any way, I am glad you got a valentines day cuddle! Jer brought me wine and choclolate. oh and The Notebook...weeee!
