dragonlady7Congratulations to my cousin Andreas in Oslo (oh he of the drunken Internet telephony fame) has, after months of searching, finally found a job!
They phoned him up out of the blue and said, "You, work for us!"
It's a job in his field-- engineering-- using his shiny new engineering degree, so he's excited. But it's just a 3-month contract. Oh well.
Congrats on finally getting to shave your unemployment beard! (Well. He's keeping a goatee, since it's only a temporary job anyway.)
I'm going out tonight to get a fish fry on the first Friday of Lent, so after drinking a toast to getting fired, i'll drink a toast to him getting hired.
