Just got my annual statement from Direct Loans, the federal program that has my low-interest student loans. I got it e-mailed, as I do have these things sent electronically.

It is utterly illegible.

Now, that gives me precisely the information I need, doesn't it.

For fuck's sake. I tried replying to the email to ask them to please re-send it in a legible format, or MAIL me the goddamn information if they didn't have a computer program that actually worked, but the email address is "no-reply@" whatever, and there's no contact info anywhere within the mail. No way to actually get in touch with them. No "problems with this email? techsupport@" kind of deal. Nothing.

So, thanks, you fuckers. Get a fucking programming department, huh? How the heck am I supposed to do my taxes? ARGH.
