Yeah, we're definitely in beta. In that, it works as a story, but the pacing needs some more work.
I added more background, and am now surprised that the chapter's longer?

Well, we'll see what people think on Monday.
... (added) Upon considering it, it's all Ch. 5. I think a chapter in a book is longer than the chapters I've been posting. I'll probably post it in two installments, though: People don't seem to want me to post 8k words at a chunk. :)
We'll see how long Ch. 5 Part the IInd is. Part I is 5600 words.
Whoa dude, just had one of those moments where I was moving the mouse and accidentally clicked or right-clicked something and funky stuff started happening. I'll never find that dialogue box again but what a trip it was while it lasted.
Crap, I have to go to work. And write Ch. 5 Part II! And Ch. 6 because Ch. 6 is the EXCITING part. Bastards! Argh!
I'm not coming across as very 'with it' lately, am I.

Continuing the "with it" theme, I've just realized (half-dressed, in underwear, running around to prepare for work) that I don't have to go in for another two hours.
Oh yes. I am totally together and with it and whatever else those words are that describe cool people are.
