I'm going to need to rewrite the beginning chapters of the Vikings Novel to make there be more romance in them, aren't I?
How many rewrites, O Lord? How long before the damn thing is done?
I am too early in the process to start complaining.

Some of the most interesting romances I've read had the main 'couple' start out as something akin to enemies, usually as a matter of circumstance, and then the relationship blossoms out of the antagonsim between them.
I think the way you've handled it, with their initial dislike of each other subtly undercut by the fact that each notices the other in ways that have nothing to do with sizing up one's enemy...it's very well done, in my opinion. They've seen things in the other that appeal to them, but it's not strong enough yet to eliminate that distrust. As they get to know one another, I would expect that to change slowly over the next few chapters until they finally can't deny their attraction anymore.
