dragonlady7Dave is wearing a t-shirt given to him by his uncle Maris, who lives in Toronto.
It is black.
On the front, in green, it says, "Thank you for pot smoking."
Underneath, in smaller type, it says, "The Canadian Cannabis Council."
And then, on the back, there is a picture of a marijuana leaf, and above it, in large letters, it says, simply, "BLUNT".
This is possibly the stupidest t-shirt ever. The only marginally cool part is that it's Canadian, so at least it's not a stupid American shirt.
Dave explained that tshirts from foreign countries are cool when they say lame things. Like Engrish.com's collection of Japanese-english sayings. For example, the t-shirt that says, in pink, "I hate my self and I want to die."
"CANADIANS SPEAK ENGLISH," I protested.
"Pshh," Dave said. "Canadians speak English like Indians speak English."
I hereby will disclaim: tons of Indians speak excellent English. But not the ones when we call for customer support and the call center's been outsourced to India. They seem to have a policy of not hiring the ones that speak good English for those jobs. I dunno.
Dave spent the rest of the conversation trying to convince me that the presence of Quebec meant that we could safely infer that no Canadian was fully competent in the English language.
I am left to point out that the dumbest thing about this shirt is that despite his appearance (long hair, unshaven, heavy-lidded eyes) Dave's never even tried pot.
