It is snowing here, again. Not blizzard snow, but fluffy snow-- still not suitable for building things. Am sorely disappointed, as I wanted to build something large and inappropriate out of the snow in our front yard. (Mary on the Half Shell, only she's really Wonder Woman? The Pieta, using Disney characters? An anatomically-correct snow man? You'd have to know my neighborhood [southern Tonawanda near Kenmore] to get why that's the most compelling selection, but trust me it'd be funny.)

I would like to share yet another Hunter S. Thompson quote, this one from his ESPN Page2 column. Dave's got it up as an away message, which is amusing.

I have always loved blizzards, if only because of the driving experience — which is definitely an acquired taste.
