Local Bar's owner called to ask how I was doin', and to say he was sorry for having left when he did-- he'd thought Abusive Drunk was under control.

We are attempting to get our shit together to go visit my folks. It's a 300-mile drive. The forecast along the entire route is for 1-3 inches of snow, which is nothing, so we're all good.

I feel like a truck hit me. I learned a while ago that the trick to a successful Tuesday is to take Ibuprofin periodically throughout the day, so that the pain never begins-- means I'm not sore the next day.
But I gave away my last 2 ibuprofin to my co-worker at Airport bar, who broke her toe in Mexico and never got medical assistance and now two weeks later was hobbling through her first shift. And I forgot to get more while I was at home. And I was nice enough not to ask Dave to come in and bring me some because it was brutally cold out and he presumably had better things to do. (What he does all day, i don't know, because he doesn't like it when I ask, but I am quite curious. By the way, he's going to launch his website with all his Web Toys on it-- such joys as Homestar-Random, and the North Jersey Suburb Name Generator.)

I had something else deep to say but have no recollection of what it was. TIme keeps on frittering away and I still don't know how many pairs of underwear I packed. You'd think I'd be good at this by now. But I'm not.

Oh! Oh, I remember:

They hired someone new at Airport Bar!!
I am no longer the most junior person!!

That means maybe I'll make more money now!!
