dragonlady7I got out early from the airport because I had some How To Be A Better Minion training that I had to go to-- to give them credit, while it's mostly just a huge seminar for employees on Basic Manners, they are paying us for our time in taking it, and they feed us and give us toys to play with, and it does make me more likely to exercise better manners now that I know that the corporation Really Cares (tm)--- helped significantly by the District Manager attending the session and explaining in an unrehearsed little speech that honestly, truly, Corporate sends around secret shoppers all the time, and our competition is fierce, and they Actually Honesty Care whether the employees are good at customer service because if they don't, Delaware North loses the contract to Mariott or Aramark next time around, and we all out of jobs, honey.
Anyway.
So, I get to come home and CHANGE CLOTHES. So exciting.
And, check my email and read lj. Woo!
So I've put on extra makeup and am mentally preparing myself for a good Totally Solo shift at Local Bar. Here I am, I am dressed nice and made up pretty and have on nice jewelry and am in the right uniform. I can do this.
And, in fact, I must, because I made a total of $3 at my shift this morning, since i left early to go sit in a conference room, and I have no Christmas presents for anyone, and I am just so very very broke. (I owe Dave $60. So I am actually in the red.)
So come on, tips, I need some tonight.
Will the snow keep people at home? It's not really very slippery... It's just pretty fluffy snow, and most of the roads are clear. But I bet it'll keep some people at home. So I can look forward to a very slow, very little money-making night.
OH WELL. I'll bring a notebook and doodle plot ideas on it.
