dragonlady7Today was my day off, so I did a little Xmas shopping.
Buying mulch for the garden and some Christmas lights put a dent in the funds.
Buying the supplies to make the photo album for Katy wiped out the rest of my tip money from the last week, and then some.
I had to borrow $20 from Dave to cover the photo paper, binders, plastic sleeves, and assorted other crap.
My printer is dead. the thing was new, worked beautifully. I didn't use it for a while. Ink ran dry. I replaced all the cartridges.
It only prints in pink or teal now.
The yellow, cyan, magenta, and black cartridges are all new, but it only prints in a spectrum between pink and teal, with purple in the middle.
So.
We went to Dave's mom's house and used her printer.
Ink ran out. $40 to replace it.
And nearly 5 hours after I started, I'm less than half done printing the damn thing. It takes over four minutes per page.
Oh man.
Tomorrow I start work at 9:30 and I get out at midnight, so I don't think I'll be continuing...
Maybe Wednesday I can get this damn thing finished so I can mail it in time...
But the rest of my family? Not getting photo albums. Not with the printer busted. And yes, i owe Dave $60 now.
Sigh.
