dragonlady7Yeah, figured I shouldn't sit in front of the computer and dwell on what an idiot I am.
It's a bummer that we don't have a functioning DVD player in this whole house.
We went down to the Essex St. Pub (on Rhode Island st. just off ... uh... Richmond) and had a few, after having a few at home, and I critiqued the barmaid's technique at both selling drinks and upselling when I ordered generic-- she was pretty good.
And I tipped her good. But not so much when she started putting Dave's DD drinks in plastic glasses.
So now I'm drinking homemade "oh shit I realized after i poured it there's no speed pourer on this thing so I just filled the freaking glass with vodka" drinks.... Yeah. Tipsy. But no light-trails yet, and face not yet numb. Bah! I have decided that I am a bartender who does not drink on the job. Which makes for a boring week.
I think I'm getting some credit in this 3-way IM conversation for being a remarkably coherent slightly-inebriated chick. Hey, man, at least i can still find my fuckin' delete key! Else, this conversation'd be a helluva lot more colorful and, well, less compehensible.
me: Oooog. Liquid goes down a different pipe than air. Hack, hack, cough.
