The Gazette gets all sorts of junk that people think we'll write about. So twice a year, we auction it all off and give the money to charity. The Christmas auction was Thursday, and there was a giant inflatable tree. It was horrible. So awful, in fact, that one of the features reporters bought it and put it on a counter in the middle of the news room.
The Nativity inflatible would be worse, but only slightly.
