81k even

With a single word of padding, I just made 81,000 words in the novel I started on Nov 1st.

I have, with that word, finished the first, planned, ending of the novel.

I will be writing an additional 5-10,000 words, for a longer secondary ending.

But the scene I just wrote may well prove to be the end of the novel.


So I might've just finished a novel. For the first time in my life.


I need to rewrite the entire thing. And as I said, I have to write the long ending.

But that's the short ending, right there. i just posted it to treigylgweith.

I gotta do some more research. I gotta fix the pacing of the whole thing. I got a bunch more work to do.

But, structurally, there's a complete novel there.



God, I'm tired.

No! Can't sleep! Must write long version of ending so I can edit and make first draft!

I got a whole six hours of sleep first, though. I'm living the high life. Of luxury and idleness. :D
