i sleep to dream
Nov. 11th, 2004 10:35 pmI'm on the couch in the living room.
Dave thought it would be funny to tip the papasan up like a salad bowl and put the dog in it. Her little legs are too short and she can't get out. For about two seconds, she was distressed. For about two hours now, she's been lying in there happy as a clam and snoring to beat the band.
I'm squished all the way at one end of the couch. Dave is filling the whole rest of the couch with his long skinny body in some improbable position, feet hanging off or knees sticking up or something else unlikely to be comfortable but he doesn't seem to mind. He's been asleep for about an hour, head against my hip, holding my stuffed panda in his arms.
He's not snoring. He doesn't snore unless he's sick. (Thank god.) But he's breathing heavily, and between him and the dog there's so much cute in this room that I just don't know what to do.
added: I've put up a picture of this here.
