So Dave's mom's out of town and we're dog/house/cat-sitting (though the cat, in her particular feline manner, is relatively self-sufficient).

I had to go over to feed the dog (i've spoken of her before; we lived at dave's mom's house for much of the summer, and Bert was my best friend. She's elderly and eccentric but doesn't know she's elderly and doesn't realize she's eccentric.)

She seemed so sad when I went to leave after feeding her that I decided I couldn't leave her there alone. But I was right in mid-dialogue in a good scene, so i wasn't gonna sit there and keep her company while she slept on the couch. Hell, I have a couch. So I put the leash on her and brought her over.

She ran the whole way. Guess her arthritis is better. (She's on medication for it.)

So I've moved location for the first time since I started NaNoing. I'm on the couch now, with three afghans, two pillows, and one beagle.

She's snoring.


I miss having furry pets.

edit: no, I was listening to this album by coincidence. That's pretty funny.
