moral dilemma
Nov. 10th, 2004 09:38 amone should never have a moral dilemma within 30 minutes of waking, but i do.
1) we have only one bathroom in our house.
2) i have to do some business
3) Dave's in there, in the shower
4) the business does not promise to be, well, odorless.
We have a general policy of, hey, there's only one bathroom, and someone in the shower does not preclude the use of the bathroom's other facilities. i would be perfectly justified in going in there, and doin' my thing. but it wouldn't be very nice.
So I'm gonna be the better person, and just wait in mild discomfort until Dave's done with his beauty routines in there.
This happens less often than you'd think.
Added, since I thought that was really sort of silly for a whole entry on its own:
Not feeling so healthy this morning. my eyes hurt except when I have them closed. I feel like I need to get more done, so I dont' feel justified in sleeping more. But I have been lying here with my eyes closed to keep the pain away, and not-quite-sleeping, and it's not much more productive than sleep. In fact, probably less.
Bleah.
Not that this addition really added anything to this post, but there it is.

Aren't you at least grateful that I didn't just come on in there and do my business? Doesn't that mean anything to you?

>living alone
I like living with someone but having them not be around all the time. I like having the place to myself but I get lonely if there isn't someone around sometimes.
Mostly he sits in the other room and we IM, but sometimes he IMs me from the other end of my room instead. That's closeness, man. That's bordering on codependency. I dunno. ;-)
