Told myself I'd do it by six and I did!
Not done with the scene yet, though, so no excerpt yet.
It's, well, a sex scene. Hard to write. I'm really proud I managed to get the wordcount. Lord knows I've been metaphorically chewing the end of the pencil-- they take so long to write because you have to be so damn careful what you say...
Anyhow.

Date: 2004-11-10 07:44 am (UTC)I had heard of them only a bit before I met Dave. He introduced me to them and they are among the most-played albums in my iTunes library. (I know-- playcount stats lead to madness. Yow.)
Thanks for the hugs. :) I sort of need them-- there are probably 25k more words to go and I only have 2 weeks to finish the whole project. But I've always done best on a deadline, right?
I hope your thesis is going well in more ways than just wordcount. You know, i wish just plain wordcount meant more in this world. Dammit, it's one of my only strengths. Thbbppt. We should be able to get some kind of, like, life discount for having put out so many words. Or something. I don't know. Somehow the little "Yays you won" icon/PDF at the end of NaNoWriMo doesn't feel like quite enough...
