I'd hoped to have a website up before I began NaNoWriMo.
I sort of do.

Interestingly, Google has already figured out what ads to serve.
(I've never earned any money from those Adsense ads, but since I signed up, I feel like I ought to at least put them up. i get so much search engine traffic, after all...)
The journal is meant to be embedded in a more sophisticated way. I also plan on getting a better style in place. However. I want to start with the one I'm already using. I have no way of finding out which one I'm already using. Nowhere will it tell me what style I am using. As a result, I have not made any headway in customizing my journal.
So stupid.
Dave wrestled with GoLive for me, to get it to recognize that the Images folder I'd put in it was actually there. So stupid. I'm sorry, I'm just used to file management programs making sense rather than needing sense beaten into them. So thanks to Dave for keeping me from performing wholesale slaughter.
On the topic of it being Halloween, I think my iChat message adequately conveys my feelings on the topic:
"Holy crap! Trick or treaters? ... I guess I ought to put some clothes on before I answer the door."
Actually we've only had four, and they all came to the door at the same time. dave was asleep, and woke to answer the door like a zombie, with no idea what the hell was going on. I had to come out and retrieve the basket that he was nearly standing in, and give out the candy. That boy, he can sleep.
