i am such a sappy twit
Oct. 23rd, 2004 12:06 pmbut I'm not a cheater!
I wrote a short-short (for me) little bit related to the novel but not part of it. and posted it over at
treigylgweith. (here's the entry, actually, if you're already signed up.)
it's kinda sappy. But I thought it was sweet.
*obligatory plug* If you wanna read it, friend
treigylgweith and I'll friend you back so you can!*/plug*
:)
In other news, I drew a picture (incredible!) and actually like it. (I fancied myself an artist all through junior high and high school until junior year when I wanted to apply to art school and my art teacher said you're joking, right? Great. So i stopped drawing. In college, in an art class I took to fill out my required credits for the semester, the professor said "man, you should've been an illustrator." Sigh. But it's hard to get back into a habit when writing's so much easier.)
I'll scan it later, if I still like it. It's the heroine, whose hair and facial bone structure i've decided (rather unoriginally) to model loosely on the incomparable Danielle Cormack. (When you can't get artists' models, you use Google Images. Simple enough.)
