I don't know that I have.
I mean, I love the boy. He's a geek. But he does it well.

If you're going to geek out...

Chi, Chilichi? is the latest embodiment of his profoundly cool, thorough geekiness.

It contains the only known Powerpoint-based music video (presented in QuickTime) for a Renaissance secular madrigal. (Oh, so very secular. Though it does mention the Pope...)

The webpage is also created entirely in the unusual (though five-year-old) multimedia standard SMIL.

It also has Dave's maiden attempts at Amazon affiliate links. Which are cute. He's such a salesman.

It's also freaking funny.

Clicky clicky. You'll be culturally richer for it.

Important: IE sucks. Use Firefox. Firefox is a real Internet browser that actually works with the actual, standards-based, universal Internet: Also, it doesn't have security flaws that will bring down your operating system.
Get Firefox here.

I swear... the page you're linking to is not what I'd call IE (ayeeeeee) friendly. The positioning of the tabs from the CSS pushes the whole thing off the page, and all I can see is half of the box containing the text, and none of the tabs. I had to open up the source code to get the URL of the .mov file. Shame on you both, ignoring the ignorant majority of the world!

It looks great if FireFox (and I'll be in Safari too), but who uses them? Geeks like us, that's who.

Anyway, the video is brill. Love it. My compliments to the geek.

Yeah... Dave's real big into... Standards-Compliance.

IE isn't.

Dave's not real big into IE.

Though, it worked in IE when he tested it. But, we don't have any PCs here. (Even his mom and his aunt have Macs.)
I've passed your screen shot along. We'll see how it goes. :)

Grmmmble. Somehow it worked just great in IE/Mac, which was discontinued something like two years ago, and which was widely panned in its day for its lack of standards compliance, yet it did not work in the latest and greatest IE/Windows. I suppose many would consider this to be progress.

So yes, I'm pretty sure I've fixed it. Sorry about that.
