just accidentally discovered the keyboard shortcut for "reload" while trying to open a new tab. I am... a genius?
I just misspelled my own URL. What's so bad about that, you ask?
My URL is my name.
it suddenly, blindingly occurs to me that there may be people on my friends' list that have not heard this about me, so I ought to share it again:
I MISSPELLED MY OWN NAME, on the SATs.
Yup.
...
TWICE.
On the PSATs I had some bubble trouble and wound up with "Brhdget" as my name on all my college mail. Oops, shucks. Oh well, now I know who sold my name to mailing lists.
I took the SATs several times. I went to a private school and they made us take them a few times to get our best possible score. (My scores went down every time I took it. My first ones were fine. Duh.)
On one of the SATs I took I had another bubble-trouble incident. This time, i was Bsidget.
When I sent my scores to colleges, I was Bsidget.
And I wonder why I only got in one place I applied to...
I was posting for an entirely different reason, however. I wanted to say that I put the new Peacemakers album Americano up for my sister to download, and if anyone else can read the .m4a format (AAC files; iTunes encoding) they can feel free to get themselves a copy. (Limited time only, as it's taking up a ton of space on the server...)
Americano!
If you can't read that file format, sorry. It took me forever to get that dang thing to work so I thought I'd share the effort, but I'm not taking the time to put it into mp3 format because I'm not a saint. Besides, it's stealing music. (At least Dave bought the CD fair and square, brand new.)
And, here, for the obligatory plug, I will say that Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers have four CDs now; Honky Tonk Union, Real to Reel, and Sonoran Hope And Madness besides the one I put up. I love the others, and recommend them highly if you like Americano. Additionally, Clyne was the vocalist for the Refreshments, who put out Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy sometime in the late 90's, most known for that song on the radio called "Banditos" (also called "Pistols & Pesos")-- "show your i.d. card to the border guard, the alias says you're captain jean-luc picard of the United Federation of Planets, cuz he won't speak English anyway..."
Yeah, most of their songs are about high living in border towns. But so witty! And his voice is heavenly. I actually have a song of theirs up in mp3 format: Green & Dumb, off of Honky Tonk Union. Do listen to it. They're fabulous. Nobody else can yodel like that.

i should win a medal.
Or, maybe, get into a college or something. Grumble. Stupid standardized tests. Not that I'm still bitter 6 years later. No... Holy crap, 6 years? I'm such a geeezor.
