the log blog
Sep. 16th, 2004 12:56 pmDave has an ongoing... tension in his relationship with blogs. He had one for a while. It was freaking brilliant. (See here for his inspired rants about Radio Shack and... well, the other links are all inexplicably broken. Nooo! Oh wait-- here's a good one: RDF For Dick And Jane-- you can see why he didn't keep this up, because yo, they weren't blog entries, they were essays.)
But I digress.
More lately he has been mocking my blog (mildly. He knows what I'm like about it. Dude, I've had the blog longer than I've had him). The other night, while his buddy Chris was over, he decided he ought to start a Log Blog, which consisted entirely of entries concerning his bowel movements. You know, time, circumstances, location, color, consistency, size, and any particular behaviors. Etc.
He thought this would be amusing, but he never did it.
However. He kind of had a point about weblogs. Because I'm going to now share with you the fact that as of this moment I am embroiled in a lengthy IM debate over poop with Dave, at this very moment. Dave is currently at RIT, in the library, and is debating where he should go poop. Because there are just so many choices.
Some of us don't get out much.
