How important is the objective on a resume, really?

I can never think of anything worthwhile to say.

And, I mean... it's a job as a bartender. Honestly. What am I supposed to day?

My objective is to sling drinks at drunken eedjits while attempting to finangle tips out of them.

At UMF they told us not to have an objective section at all unless you were applying somewhere that had the possibility for moving up, and you wanted to stay with that place and move up. (The closest I can think of in your case would be bar owner...)
So I'd say, skip it.
