Denial of the Day

My little foray into denial for today goes as follows.

"I'm not drinkin' alone," I said, looking over the rim of my plastic drinking cup full of crown royal and raspberry iced tea. "You're here, Bert."

(Bert is the Kleinschmidts' elderly beagle. In other words, she is a small dog.)
