Ice cream.
Truck.

GAH!
STOPPIT!

It circles the neighborhood for about an hour at a time, driving around with the horrifying MIDI version of "the entertainer" playing incessantly, louder, quieter, louder, quieter, finally deafening when it's just outside, and then it circles the neighborhood again...

It's like a maddening, infuriating, noise shark.

The worst part? There's a wonderful little ice cream parlor down the street. If I want ice cream, i'll go there. it's 5 minutes' walk. And they have soft-serve frozen custard, and worms-n-dirt sundaes, and an excellent "smore" sundae made with marshmallow, hot fudge, and crumbled graham cracker.
The ice cream truck just has freaking ice cream sandwiches, and I have a box of those in the freezer already.
